The Smith flap tail is made from wood for the last 25+ years. It has 2 coats of epoxy to hold up to many fish. The flap tail makes more subtle noise on the surface with brass blade just plopping and ticking the rear of the bait. When fish won't eat a faster moving topwater show them a Smity.
