They're crafted in white gold
and the fine knife-edge band is crafted in 18k yellow gold with platinum shoulders

Case, c. 1860 Skull, c. 1900 Here we have a cool, gothic and unusual Victorian curiosity A skull sculpture (yes, its adult sized and weighs around 220 grams!). Spooky but pretty cool right? A fantastic piece of decor, displayed perfectly in an original Victorian glass dome display jar. These jars, or cloches were originally used for things like taxidermy! And its finished with a velvet cover where the skull rests and a black stand.
