Victorian Sea Bean "Touch Wood" Pendant vauxhall glass It's crafted in 9 karatDATE: Victorian, c. 1900 Lucky beans were popular throughout the Victorian and Edwardian eras, allegedly inspired by the "sea beans" that would occasionally wash up on European beaches after travelling on Ocean currents from far more exotic lands. The fact they could still germinate after (potentially) many years at sea suggested that they must be infused with powerful good luck. As for this little sea bean, it looks most like a Merremia
