This is not the richest, nor the flashiest, nor the darkest, nor the most tannic but, to me, this wine is just about perfect every year. You should treat yourself. The San Lorenzo vineyard lies in Verduno, adjacent to the celebrated Monvigliero cru, sharing a southern exposure but positioned at a slightly lower elevation with gentler slopes.
