Vignalta 'Ode' Rosso Veneto IGT, 2019 mule I named this liqueur "chareau"This wine is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmenre. It is elegant as an everyday wine or an apertif, with a bright juiciness. We would pair it with steak fajitas. The winery is almost entirely within a national park in the Veneto, and centers around the village of Arqu Petrarca, where one of the most famous scholars and poets of the Italian Renaissance, Francesco Petrarch, settled after his diplomatic duties and writing slowed down.
