The depictions on the plates are taken from thirteen paintings by George Morland (English painter 1763-1804)

I do have several of these and please note that one or two have small flaws done during manufacture

The brown center is complemented with a purple border. This plate shows one of a series of romantic scenes which always include windmills in rural landscapes. The border features six cartouches alternating between windmills and people with horses. Each cartouche is separated by a pretty trellis
