RARE Ca 1835 Bi Color Yellow Transferware Plate Lovebirds in Cornelian Cherry Dogwood Vintage salad fork circa 1880-82This truly stunning example dating to the 1830's in the pattern named simply Cornelian, short for the type of Cornelian Cherry Dogwood branches the birds are perched in. This is one of the first trees to bloom in Spring and is native to Europe and Asia. After 1828, technology allowed potters to produce two and three color transfer wares.
