18th Century "Dalmatian" Chelsea Seal Fob horseshoe It was made in VictorianDATE: Georgian, c. 1750 A particularly lovely Chelsea St. James porcelain seal fob modelled as a dalmatian. The dog is sitting on a green grass base and sports a yellow gold collar, with bail for wear as a pendant. It's beautifully hand painted and fully original, the base is set with an intaglio carved carnelian panel. These seals would have been given as love tokens by the rich and famous of the day.
