Victorian Gold & Silver Mouse Ring mourning jewellery Citrine and GarnetDATE: Victorian, c. 1880 A charming Victorian mouse ring dating from the latter half of the 19th century, circa 1880. The rodent sits perched atop a fine gold band, its tail wrapped around, and (for some reason) with an elongated nose (Pinocchio mouse? Elephant shrew? Was there once a pearl there?). The band is crafted in 15 karat gold, and the mouse in wonderfully detailed silver. MEASUREMENTS Mouse: 10. 6 x 3. 3 x 4. 5mm (length by width by height,
