Its pave set with a cluster of marcasite studs, surrounding the central dreamy pearl that rests in the centre of the "shell". Its quite a striking effect, placing the pearl at the centre of attention. Modelled in silver throughout, it rests lovely against the finger and dates to circa 1930. Perhaps this is a reference to the "Birth of Venus",
