Front has an asymmetrical closure with a button  at top and a snap closure at waist that has button sewn atop

none really noticeable particularly as the fabric is sheer and things get lost in the folds

Presents beautifully and fabric and seams are sturdy

1930s / 40s Aqua Satin and Chiffon Nightgown by Ro Jene rayon_crepe Given measurements are relaxed/stretchedStunning 30s or 40s nightgown (silk I believe) in a pale aqua satin with shirred chiffon cups. This could also be worn as an evening gown if a slip were worn (cups are somewhat sheer). Skirt is bias cut and back portion of bodice is self lined. Excellent vintage condition. Satin on bodice seems slightly darker than skirt but this isn't due to fading but rather looks intentional. Size is somewhat variable due to cut, shown on a size 2 form. Bust: 32"
