The dress is lined in a coordinating purple with a central zip to fasten at the reverse

although the jacket is a little bigger

The fabric composition is not known but it feels like a good quality medium weight acrylic jersey

It has little capelet sleeves and a wide scoop neck, with a side zip to fasten to the waist. The bodice is darted while the waistband has wide box pleats for a fitted look. Great vintage condition
