1940s Wine Pleated Bodice Dress teens_dress Length: 43" plus another 3"Late 1930s early 1940s dress in wine colored rayon crepe. Bodice has stitched pleating over the front and sleeves and closes with self covered buttons and loops. Skirt is a line with a generous hem and there is a side Kover zipper. There is an attached belt that is quite long so I believe it is meant to cross either behind or forward according to the wearer's preference.
