C4495 Ford GT40 - BOAC 500 1968 - Drury / Holland option-set-186 on the wallOne of the main pairs of British privateers to use the GT40 after it had largely ceased to be a competitive prospect at the front of the Sports Car field, Terry Drury and Keith Holland qualified for the BOAC 1000KMs in a healthy 22nd place. During the race, the pair faired well, lasting 91 laps of the sweeping and majestic Brands Hatch GP loop before being stopped by low oil pressure. The car itself was one of the most stunning GT40s of the period.
