True Life book design The first of the fourTRUE LIFE exhaustively documents Alex Da Cortes relationship with the musician Eminem over four exhibitions. From Detroit to Cologne, morefrom an artist run space to a major international museum, Eminem trails Da Cortes work through his thirties, reappearing, evolving alongside America, explaining more of himself each time. Eminems place in culture and his role in Da Cortes practice, as well as the larger story of American identity, is explored
