Neben Yamazaki ist Hakushu die zweite Brennerei des Unternehmens Suntory, welches sich auf die Produktion von Single Malt Whisky konzentriert. Allerdings findet bei Hakushu leicht getorftes Malz Verwendung, was bei Yamazaki nicht der Fall ist.. Hakushu 18 Peated Malt besteht aus sorgfltig ausgewhlten Malt
